In this short course, organized by Eleonora and Stefano in collaboration with the MSE group (Eawag) and the De Mello group (ETH), you can learn the basics of microfluidic technology and sample a range of applications in microbiology and chemistry. Topics will cover fluid transport at small scales, design and fabrication of microfluidic devices, set up of a typical microfluidic experiment, flow visualization, image acquisition and analysis, and ‘troubleshooting at the microscale’.
Lectures will be broadcast on Zoom from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM from June 17-20, 2024. Please visit our webpage for more information and to view the preliminary program.
