Swiss Army Plans to Use Bacteria

Former lab member Dr. Estelle Clerc and her company, CellX, made national headlines last week after securing a contract worth nearly CHF 500,000 from the Federal Office for Defence Procurement. The project will explore microorganisms that could help break down PFAS in soils contaminated by firefighting exercises at military training sites. More details (in German) here.
